Day 1
Edinburgh to Pitlochry
We begin with Falkland Palace and gardens, St Andrews Castle and Cathedral, and the magnificent Glamis Castle. Overnight in Pitlochry at Fonab Castle Hotel or Pine Trees Hotel.
Day 2
Pitlochry to Aberdeen area
We visit Braemar Castle, the royal Balmoral Castle, and Ballater, before continuing to Dunnottar Castle. Overnight near Aberdeen at The Marcliffe Hotel.
Day 3
Aberdeenshire Castle Trail
A full day exploring the beautiful Aberdeenshire Castle Trail. Overnight near Dufftown at The Dowans Hotel.
Day 4
Dufftown to Tain
We visit Elgin Cathedral and Cawdor Castle, with time in Inverness, before reaching Tain. Overnight at Glenmorangie House.
Day 5
Tain to Glengarry
Today we visit the spectacular Dunrobin Castle and the iconic Eilean Donan Castle. We overnight at Glengarry Castle Hotel.
Day 6
Fort William area
We explore Glencoe, Inveraray Castle, Kilmartin Glen, and the town of Oban. Overnight at Barcaldine Castle or Isle of Eriska Hotel.
Day 7
Return to Edinburgh / Glasgow
On our final day we visit St Conan's Kirk, Kilchurn Castle, Doune Castle, and Stirling Castle before returning you to Edinburgh or Glasgow.
